Discover the Maasai Mara National Reserve on a 3-day camping safari from Nairobi. Travel south through the dramatic Great Rift Valley, stopping at the escarpment viewpoint for photos before continuing past Narok Town to camp. Explore the reserve on afternoon and full-day game drives across rolling plains, rounded hills, acacia woodlands, scrub thickets and riverine forest. Look out for the Big Five, abundant plains game, predators, rich birdlife and the Mara River’s hippos and crocodiles. The journey also includes a visit to a Maasai village, where you can see manyatta houses, enjoy song and dance, and receive an introduction to local culture before returning to Nairobi.
