Arrive in Puerto Maldonado and feel the adventure begin! You’ll be picked up from your arrival point and swiftly transferred to  office to pack just what you’ll need for this immersive jungle experience.

River Journey Into The Wild

Set off by boat up the Madre de Dios river, surrounded by lush, vibrant scenery on your way to our Lodge.

Arrival and Bungalow Check-In

Arrive at the main house, sip refreshing fruit water, and get your bungalow keys. For guests arriving early (before 11:00h), relax in your private space before lunch; later arrivals settle in after the first activity.

Jungle Introduction Walk (15:45h)

Embark on a guided stroll through the living rainforest—hear about the Taricaya Ecoreserve and the impactful conservation work underway.

Night Walk Adventure (18:30h)

With nightfall, join your guide for a thrilling walk amid nocturnal wildlife activity. Listen to the rainforest awaken after dusk.

Dinner & Relaxation (19:30h)

Dinner is served—pair with Amazonian cocktails at the lodge bar for a perfect jungle evening.

Breakfast in the Wild (7:30h)

Start your day surrounded by the sounds of the jungle, enjoying a hearty breakfast.

Taricaya Wildlife Rescue Center Visit (8:30h)

Walk along forest trails to the Taricaya Volunteers Lodge. Meet jaguarundi, macaws, monkeys, spectacled bears, and more, learning about wildlife rehabilitation. Discover the turtle protection project, supporting vital reintroduction programs.

Lunch and Leisure (13:00)

Back at the lodge, unwind in a hammock, sip cocktails at the Tunche bar, or nap in your cozy bungalow.

Canopy Walkway Adventure (15:45h)

Venture into the ancient rainforest to ascend the canopy walkway—South America’s highest tree platform at 45 m! Marvel at parrots, macaws, and dazzling sunset panoramas.

Evening Forest Walk (18:00h)

Descend from the trees and trek back, witnessing the forest’s transformation from day to night.

Dinner and Cocktails (19:30h)

Share jungle tales over another delicious dinner and signature cocktails.

Goodbye, Lodge (7:00h check-out, 7:30h breakfast).

Scenic River and Road Journey (8:30-10:30h)

Travel back upriver, then by car deep into Tambopata, passing through remote landscapes. Lunch provided en route.

Claylick Lodge Welcome (13:00)

Arrive at your lodge and settle into your cabin for your next rainforest chapter.

Jungle Introductory Walk

Explore new trails and uncover the biodiversity of the Tambopata region with expert guidance.

Night Safari Stroll

As darkness falls, set out to witness the mysterious creatures of the night.

Dinner & Early Rest

Return for a well-deserved dinner and restful sleep amid nature’s symphony.

Unforgettable Macaw Morning & Farewell

Macaw Clay Lick Dawn Expedition (4:30h)

Early rise, quick breakfast, and 1.5 hours upstream. Watch hundreds of vibrant macaws and parrots descend for their clay meal—a breathtaking wildlife spectacle.

Return and Relax

After this unforgettable show, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and time to relax or explore the lodge’s natural surroundings one last time.

Goodbye Tambopata (12:00h)

Check out, cross the river, and drive back to Puerto Maldonado.
