Day 1: Lima, Peru
Today, we'll pick you up from Lima airport to transfer you to your hotel. Settle in and explore this exciting city for the rest of the day.Day 2: Lima - Cusco, Peru
After a free morning, we'll transfer you to the airport to take your flight to Cusco. Settle in and explore the fascinating streets of this former capital of the Incan Empire.Day 3: Cusco, Peru
Enjoy a free day in Cusco to explore the city on your own. In the afternoon, there's a mandatory briefing for your upcoming trek where you'll get detailed information to get you prepared!Day 4: Cusco - Wayllabamba Camp, Peru
We'll pick you up early and transfer you to Ollantaytambo where you can grab breakfast. Then you'll start the Inca Trail trek, trekking for 10km before you reaching Wayllabamba camp (2,980m).Day 5: Wayllabamba Camp - Pacaymayo Camp, Peru
Today is the most challenging day along the trail, with a vertical hike of 6 km (approx. 5 hours) to reach Dead Woman's Pass, enjoying views of nearby snow-capped mountain peaks and roaring waterfalls. Tonight you'll stay in Pacaymayo Camp (3,600m) to enjoy the scenery.Day 6: Pacaymayo Camp - Wiñayhuayna Camp, Peru
Visit the Pacaymayo archaeological site then continue to Runquracay Pass (3,950m). Visit 2 more archaeological sites called Sayacmarca and Phuyupatamarca. You'll then reach Wiñayhuayna High Jungle camp (2,650m) for the night.Day 7: Wiñayhuayna Camp - Cusco, Peru
Today, you'll hike up to the Sun Gate to catch the first glimpses of light over the breathtaking ruins of Machu Picchu. You'll then take a 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu then begin your journey back to Cusco.Day 8: Cusco, Peru
At the appropriate time, our driver will pick you up at the hotel’s foyer and will transfer you to the airport. Safe travels onwards!What's Included
