Your journey begins with a morning pickup between 07:20 and 08:00 AM from your accommodation in the Centro or Reforma areas. The first stop is the legendary Tule Tree, an ancient natural giant recognized as the widest tree in the world. From there, we dive into the living culture of Teotitlán del Valle, where you’ll witness master weavers using ancestral natural dyes to create world-class Zapotec textiles. The exploration continues at the Mitla Archaeological Site, famous for its intricate, geometric stone mosaics that stand as a unique testament to Zapotec heritage. Afterward, we head to the breathtaking petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua for a 1.5-hour visit, offering plenty of time to hike, swim in the mineral pools, and capture stunning cliffside views.
