Itinerary

Day 1: Puerto Maldonado-Amazon Jungle, Peru

After a pick-up from the airport or bus terminal, take a boat transfer to your Eco-Lodge while enjoying the wonders of the rainforest. Take a short rest before meeting with your guide followed by day of walks through the jungle as it transforms from day into night. Enjoy a local dinner.

Day 2: Amazon Jungle, Peru

After breakfast, take a jungle walk to Taricaya reserve for unforgettable views and wildlife spotting. We will then visit the Agroforestry farm, various reforestation projects and the Taricaya turtle project. Return to the lodge in your own inflatable boat as the sun sets. Take a rest before we finish the day’s activities with a caiman search along the river’s edge in a motorboat under moonlight.

Day 3: Amazon Jungle, Peru

Today, you will have the pleasure of meeting a community of the indigenous Ese-Eja.

Day 4: Amazon Jungle, Peru

Head to another incredible reserve, the Tambopata National Reserve, then trek to Lake Sandoval.

Day 5: Amazon Jungle-Puerto Maldonado, Peru

After an early breakfast, take a scenic return boat trip back to Puerto Maldonado. You can be taken directly to the airport/bus station or dropped off at the office. If time permits, opt to visit the Puerto Maldonado city centre on your own today and explore its sights. Return to the office to catch your transfer to the airport or bus terminal, where this amazing experience will come to an end.
